In 1988 Harald Schmidt founded his formation PADDY GOES TO HOLYHEAD as an Irish Traditional Music Band. In 12 years over 1.500 gigs, Chart-Hits, and a huge fanbase - that are the milestones of Germany´s Folk Rock Band Number 1!

Now the mastermind released and produced his very own album "Whiskey & Women Vol.1". Great! Easy and free - only guitar, harp and his wonderful warm baritone - who needs more? The King of German Harp (Mouth Organ) recorded 13 beautiful tracks from Ireland and Scotland and still his heart is beating celtic! In Germany Harald Schmidt has got a huge and loyal base of fans and for them he´s on the road again in many pubs & clubs. Live and kickin´ - my very best album of the year 2000!
